Respecting The Solemnity Of The Wedding Celebration

It never ceases to amaze me. Brides calling and inquiring about my services invariably mention, " I was at a wedding last month and the video company my friend hired were in everyones face, they were everywhere with enormous cameras and lights, conducting interviews. We really want a video for our wedding but we really don't want to know you're there".

Now I know a wedding is a celebration and capturing all the excitement and joy is what I love to do...in the most creative and sensitive manner possible. However, a wedding is also a solemn commitment between two people and it is my task to capture the day in a respectful and non-intrusive manner. This philosophy has been the driving force in my success. It is called a documentary style film. A film that tells a story without the filmmaker becoming the story.
